POLO DANCE
PURIRI HALL CROWDED FUNCTION SATURDAY NIGHT c The Puriri Hall was crowded to its limit on> Saturday evening Mast when the Hikutaia Polo Club held , a dance to entertain the visiting Morrinsville polo players, and it was jolly gathering which 'brought a splendid day’s sport to an end. Popular hits were well rendered by Bert Kirby’s New Collegians Orches tra, while Mr G. Flavell acted as M.C. The hall was gaily decorated with streamers of red, white and blue, while large bowls of hydrangeas decorated the stage.
Novelty dances were won by Mr and Mrs N. Harper, the spot waltz and the Monte Carlo by Mr Snelgar and partner.
