POSITION OF BLACKSMITHS i OPINION OF LOCAL FARMERS At the February of the Thames District Council of 'Primary Production it was resolved that the National Council of Primary Production and the Director of National Service be written to urging that blacksmiths and farrier blacksmiths should be declared an essential industry in the interests of the primary producers, and industry generally, owing to labour difficulties in these trades.
