DANCE HELD IN COROMANDEL

SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION

On New Year’s Night the Coromandel Hall Committee organised a very successful dance in St. George’s Hall, Coromandel. There was a large at-

tendance of dancers, as well as visitors who just “looked on.” popular nfusic was supplied by Miss C. McNeil, while an extra polonaise waltz was played by Miss Lillis. Mr W. Hart acted as M.C.

A very tasty and enjoyable supper was provided and everyone did justice to it. * 1

In spite of the extreme heat dancing went with a swing till the early hours when the • National Anthem.' brought the function to a close.
