SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES
RECENT PASSES AT NGATEA The following members ' of the Ngatea branch of the <St. John Ambulance Association, have been successful in passing their -First Aid, Home Nursing and Hygiene examinI ations, and have completed their V.A;D. hospital training: Mrs C. Brown, Mrs H. Waite, Miss A. Paul, Miss N. Laurence and Miss M. Cleave. Mrs Brown, Mrs Waite and Miss Paul are about to undergo a further cause of training at the maternity annex of the Thames Hospital. Successful entrants for recent examinations who have not yet done any hospital training are: Mrs M. Skipper, Mrs M. Grbich, Mrs E. J. Thomas, Miss N. Darlington, Miss C. Hodgson, Miss D. Grimm, Miss D. Phelps, Miss Afl Dalgety. Miss P. Smith and 1 Miss L. Durrad. The president of the brand/, Mrs Wallace Jones, stressed that the main object of the local association now is to set up a fully equipped First Aid dressing station in the district. Certificates will be .presented to the successful candidates at the 'annual ambulance dance which is being arranged to take place early next month.
