Gifts of Profits.
The British Minister of Food, Lord Woolton, has received a cheque for six figures, representing- the pro-< fit from fish trade transactions, from Mr Owen Hellyer, director of "the firm of Hull Trawler Owners. “Mr Hellyer could have conducted' these operations on his own behalf, hut he did so for the Food Ministry,’’ Lord Wool ton said. The cheque was handed to tire Treasury.
