IN CASE OF EMERGENCY
(To The Editor) Sir,—lf the town, and district of Paeroa should be subject to bombing from the air, are we soundly equipped to attend all casualties which may be caused? Are the public of (Paeroa satisfied that there are sufficient men being trained in the EjP.S. to render first-aid, quickly and efficiently, should the occasion arise ? Investigation may prove that in this direction better and complete organisation is required. The ranks of the St. John Ambulance Brigade have been reduced owing to the. calling up of members but their good work both in the past and future has never been and never will be under-’ estimated.—I am, etc., INTERESTED. Paeroa, 10/8/42.
