DECISION BY PLAINS COUNTY
METAL AND PRIVATE GRADING
“Since the last meeting of the council private delivery of metal supplies and private gra’ding have been stopped to reserve tryes for road, maintenance only,” reported the county overseer, Mr J. C. Clarke, to Wednesday’s meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council. The chairman, Mr C. W. Parfitt, Mated that metal would (be supplied -to settlers ex the hopper if the puridiaser supplied his own cartage.
