SOCIAL EVENING

TERRITORIALS ENTERTAINED

FUNCTION IN COROMANDEL

The Social Committee of the' Loya/1 Hauraki Lodge arranged a social evening in the lodge room on.

Friday last in honour of Bro. Doug. Beech and other Territorials spending leave in Coromandel.

The evening commenced with a community' sing round the piano, and was followed, by dancing and games.

Supper was served, after which the N.G. of the Lodge,. Sister Fisher, welcomed the boys and hoped they’d enjoy the evening put on for them. Being arranged at short notice, prevented the evening being made known to a number of people, but those present spent a happy time.

Musicians for the evening were Miss T. and . Mrs Lucas piano; Miss (Barrett and Mr Hill, mouth-organs; and Mr Powley, violin—all of which were appreciated and applauded.

The evening closed with the National Anthem.
