KEEN COMPETITION AT PAEROA INCREASES IN ALL VALUES The New Zealand. Loan and Mercantile Agency Cp., Ltd., report that a smaller yarding of pigs came forward at the Paeroa sale on Monday, but as expected at this time of the year, competition was keen and values for all classes showed a good increase on last sale. They' quote.—Heavy baconers, £4 5s to £4 10s; medium baconers, £3 18s to £4 4s; light baconers, £3 10 s to £3 16s; heavy porkers and buttermilk pigs, £2 10s to £3 '6s; medium porkers, £2 4s to £2 8s; light porkers, £1 16s to £2 2s; large stores, £1 10s to £1 17s; slips, 16s to £1 2s; weaners, 8s to 17s; sows in pig, £3 to £3 17s 6d; boars, to 3gns.
