COUNTY CHAIRMAN
MR C. C. RAE AGAIN ELECTED ANNUAL MEETING HELD At the annual meeting of the Coromandel County Council held at Coromandel last Wednesday the chairman, Mr C. C. Rae, was re-elected. When the clerk, Mr J. H. Lucas, called for nominations the following names were proposed:— Mr C. C. Rae proposed by Cr. T. V. Whittle and seconded by Cr. J. E. Jackson.
Mr H. C. Bull, proposed by Cr. T. E. Simpson and seconded by Cr. A. J. Denize. The latter nomination was taken as an amendment and was put to the meeting when the voting was three for and six against.
The motion to elect Mr Rae chairman, was then voted on, the voting being six for and three against.
