LIPSTICK EMPTIES

HELPING THE WAR EFFORT

NEEDED BY THE MILITARY

Beauty comes to the aid of the military. Women of Hamilton and surrounding districts are conserving lipstick containers. No, not for scrap metal, but for a more romantic purpose!

The Women’s War Service Auxiliary has made the appeal for these containers to be used for enclosing messages carried by pigeons. All women will be assisting the war effort by saving and gathering lipstick “empties.”
