RUGBY AT PAEROA

JUNIOR REPRESENTATIVES VALLEY-NORTH AUCKLAND PRIMARY SCHOOLS’ CHALLENGE Rugby fixtures at Paeroa to-morrow will be confined to a junior and a third grade representative match on the domain. The former will meet the Auckland third grade representatives and the latter a team from Thames.

The juniors have shown glimpses of good form this year' although they lost the Johnston Cup, and should make a strong effort. The Auckland team, it is expected, will play bright and entertaining football, with the result that an excellent game should be staged. The Thames and Paeroa third grade teams will be evenly matched and the boys should attract a large number of spectators. THAMES VALLEY TEAM. The Thames Valley team will leave Paeroa,.this afternoon en route for Maungaturoto where it will meet the North Auckland representatives tomorrow. The valley team has been weakened by Swann (P), Robinson (P) and O’Neil (W) being unavailable, but they have been replaced by Hanan (P), Miller (P) and Thompson (H.P.). PRIMARY SCHOOLS FIXTURE. The Thames Valley primary school representatives will also play a match to-morrow against South Auckland at Pukekohe for the Vancouver Cup.
