TO-DAY’S GAZETTE
CHRISTMAS SUPPLEMENT RESULTS OF LITERARY COMPETITION. With to-day’s Hauraki Plains Gazette the annual Christmas supplement of 20 pages is presented. The annual literary competitions afford local writers the opportunity of testing their ability and from the number of entries received it appears that many of our readers have literary aspirations. The results of these competitions are announced, the winning entries being published. The supplement will, therefore, hold much interest in addition to that created by Yuletide reading and the many * messages from business firms making known the Christmas merchandise stocked.
