Mr Keith Ball, of the staff of the Turua Post Office has been transferred to Tokomaru 'Bay, and left on Monday last.

Mi* S. I. Mclntyre, of the staff of Mr S. J. Hedge, has been successful in passing his First Professional Examination, conducted by the Pharmacy Board of N.Z. recently.

Mr J. M. Macaulay, manager of the Paeroa branch of the National Bank of New Zealand, commenced his annual leave on Monday, and, with Mrs Macaulay, left to spend three weeks’ holiday in Auckland and Rotorua. Mr W. A. Harrington is acting as managet and Mr Godfrey Kissling, of the Hamilton branch, is on relieving duty.
