PAEROA STOCK SALE. . 0 There was an exceptionally heavy yarding at the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company Limited’s Paeroa stock sale on Monday, and a first class sale resulted. Springers and beef were in keen demand and prices showed an advance. Springers, of which there was a big yarding, met with keen demand, the best realising from £7 10s to £9 10s; backward, £6 10s to £7 10s; and rough and inferior, £4 to £5 10s. Good dairy cows brought from £7 10s to £9 10s; others, from £5 to £6 10s. A good yarding of beef met with keen competition, prices showing a marked rise. Best cows brought from £6 10s to £7 12s 6d; others, from £4 10s to £5 10s; store cows, £2 to £3 15s; and boners, from £1 to £2 ss. There- was a good yarding of yearling Jersey heifers ap'd these sold readily, prices being £2 to £2 15s. and others from 255. to 355. Pigs sold at up to 295. i NGATEA STOCK SALE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., had a fair yarding of springers and a small yarding of beef at its monthly stock sale at Ngatea on Tuesday. The best Jersey springing heifers sold af from £7 5s to £8; and others from £5 to £6 15s. Thin dairy cows off high country, sold at from £2 10s to £5. A small yarding of yearling Jersey heifers sold at £l. A small yarding of beef sold at prices which were on a par with those at Paeroa on the previous day.
