Robinson (H.), Pascoe (P.) ; half-back, M. Taylor (P.) J rover, Grant (Karangahake) ; forwards, Power (P-), Southby (P.), Edwards (P.), M. Robinson (H.), Welch (H.), Hassett (K.), V. Capill (P.)Emergencies: Backs, Findlay, Marshall, Wells; 'forwards, Lang, McIntyre, Wisbey.

Messrs E. .A. Mahoney and D. G. McMillan have been nominated by the Hauuraki Plains Referees’ Association as referee.es for Poland Cup matches. For the primary schools’ matches on the Hauraki Plains on Saturday next, Mr Clark lias been appointed for the Ngatea-Coast game at Ngatea, and Mr F. Clotworthy fou the Turua-KerepeeJii game at Turua. The. Thames Rugby Union has drawn up a new programme of representative matches for the season. Apparently only two challenge matches have been received for the Birch Cup, for the only dates allotted hire, Hauraki Plains, June 19, and Paeroa, July 10. July 24, the date of the Thames Valley Rugby Union’s North versus South match for the selection of the touring team, has been submitted to the Plains Union as a date for the Peace Cup Challenge match. On. the following Saturday Thames will play club matches, and the date of the next Saturday, August 7, has been submitted to the Plains Union for a match a,t Ngatea. From August 14 to September 25, with the exception of August 28, the Thames Union hope to play Peace Cup matches against Morrinsville, Paeroa, Cambridge, Hamilton, Pukekohe, and Piako.
