Buttons Tournament FINALS PLAYED The Lower Waikato Basketball Association’s buttons tournament finals, A and B Sections, were played on Saturday afternoon at the Huntly schoolgrounds, before a large attendance of spectators. The winners of the final in the A Section were Huntly Convent, while the B Section was won by Te Kauwhata. The L.W.B.A’s. handsome silver cup, for yearly competition, was won by Huntly Convent. Following are the detailed results : Convent 13. v. Pukemi.ro 3 v. Huntly Old Girls 4. n 5 v. Huntly High ~B Section : Glen 6 v. Taupiri 2. Final—B Section: Te Kauwhata b v. Gordonton 6. Final—A Section : Huntly Convent 7 v. Glen Afton 2.
