MOTORING ACCIDENT

CAR DAMAGED On Sunday morning a sedan ear owned by Mr. Glendinning, manager of McDonald mine, was extensively damaged when it struck a corner of the Huntly service station. It appaers that the driver intended to turn into the service station when the right front wheel struck the kerb, causing the car to swerve across the footpath and run into the corner of the building. The front mudguard and lamp were completely smashed and the front axle was bent. The impact cracked the wall of the building, and it is a marvel that the window was not broken. Fortunately, no one was injured.
