IYA—lnternational programme. 2YA —Studio concert of popular type, the Maori tenor, Noho Told, will give several numbers supported by well known artists. 3YA—Silent day. 4YA —Studio concert by the Queen Island Municipal Band and assisting artists. Wednesday. IYA—Studio concert by members of the Jubilee Institute for the Biind. 2YA—lnternational programme. 3YA—Bulwer Lytton’s famous “The Lady of Lyons” will be the main feature of this evening's programme. An excellent cast has been engaged for the production. 4YA—Studio concert by Signor Giovanni Stella’s concert party assisted by Signora Martinelli—Riggiardo’s Sextet. This will be a programme of rare merit. Thursday. IYA—In this evening’s studio concert, Denis Sheard, the popular Australian tenor will present several numbers. 2YA—The major portion of this evening’s programme will be given by the Aeolian Male Quartette, who will be heard in quartettes, duets, and solos. The Savoy Banjo Trie will play popular items. 3YA—lnternational programme. 4YA—Silent day. Friday. IYA—Relay of spelling bee for adults promoted by the IYA Musical and Dramatic Committee. 2YA—This station will relay from Marton a concert to be given by lo- . cal artists. 3YA—Featured on this evening’s programme will be a lecture recital by ' Mr T. Saturday. IYA—This will be aviation night at this station, and the studio programme will be interrupted to permit of the broadcasting of a description of night flying and fireworks at the Mangere aerodrome. 2YA—Relay from Wellington Town Hall of a concert by the Wellington Harmonic Society. The main part of the relay will consist of choral work. 3YA and 4YA—Variety marks the programme, which is to be given in the 4YA studio and broadcast also by 3YA.
