SOCIAL AND DANCE

A very pleasant evening was enjoyed at the Parish Hall on Wednesday, when there was a good attendance of dancers and card ethusiasts. In the euchre tournament the prizes were won as follows : Ladies, Mrs Tait senr. first, Mrs J. Shaw second. Gentlemen, Mr J. Douglas first and Mr E. Smith second. A guessing competition was won by Mrs Burgess, who made the nearest guess as to the number of Peas in a bottle. The spot dance was won by Miss E. Braun and Mr N. Iledley.
