GLEN AFTON SITES
As the result of representation made by Mr. W. Lee Martin, M.P., in connection with the leasing of certain sections adjacent to the Glen Afton Railway Station, as building sites, the following reply has been forwarded from the Hon. W. A. Veith, Minister of Railways:— “With further reference to your letter of 28th February regarding the question of our leasing certain building sites adjacent to Glen Afton railway station, I desire to inform you that my enquiries in this connection shows that the area available, will, if subdivided, make seven suitable sites. Arrangements are therefore being made to subdivide the land which will be put up for lease by public tender in due course. Persons who are interested will therefore have an 1 opportunity of making an offer for any particular section.”
