DANCE.

An interesting event of the Easter season was the dance sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormons), and held in the Lyceum hall on Friday last. The music was furnished by girl musicians from Auckland, two of them being proteges of the professional 1 :*nd of IV alter Smith, namely, Dinah and Margie Greening. Miss AL Clark, the pianist, has also established an enviable record as a musician in Auckland and environs. These three debutantes combined to put over a very interesting and delectable dance programme. Interesting innovations were present in the form of novelty hulas, pois, and Maori songs rendered by the Maori people from Huntly West. It was the concensus of opinion that everyone was well recompensed for the effort extended in attending this terpsichorean endeavour.
