WEDDING

ROSE—WILCOX. The Presbyterian Church, Pukemiro, was the scene of the wedding, on Easter Monday, of Miss Ellen Wilcox, second daughter of Mr. and Mis. "W • Wilcox, of Pukemiro, to Mr. Norman Rose, second son of Mrs. Rose and - the late Mr. George Rose, of Pukemiro. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. C. J. Bush-King, of Huntly, and Mrs. O. L. Duns ford, of Dargaville played the wedding music. The bride, who was given away by her father wore an ankle-length frock of white georgette with lace coatee. Her veil was of embroidered tulle edged with silver lace, and fell in graceful folds to form a train. Miss Eunice Wilcox, the chief bridesmaid, wore a frock of old gold satin with georgette coatee trimmed with box pleated ruffles of gold taffeta, and hat to match. The second bridesmaid, Miss Joyce Wilcox, wore a frock of rose satin with georgette coatee trimmed with tiny pen-painted flowers, and a hat to tone. All carried bouquets of seasonable flowers. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Fred Rose, as best man and Mr. Andrew Brown as groomsman. A reception was afterwards held by the bride’s parents, in the Pukemiro Miners’ Hall and among the guests wcre : Mr. and Mrs. W. Seddon, Mr. and Mrs. W. Ainscough (Huntly), Mr. and Mrs. T.
