KITCHEN EVENING.

A surprise party was given to Miss Ena Hall, of Westmere, Huntly, on Wednesday evening, April Ist, by her many friends on the occasion of her marriage to Mr. Richard Headley, of Huntly. A very enjoyable evening was spent. Dancing and singing was indulged in until the early hours of the morning, when the party concluded with “She’s a Jolly Good Fellow,” and “Auld Lang Syne.” The guest of the evening received many useful presents from her friends. Among those present were:—Mrs. W. Brook, Mrs. P. Vickery, Miss F. Hedley, Miss J. Allan, Miss W. Allan, Miss J. Thompson, Miss I. Crooks, Miss Reid, Miss L. Wilson, Miss E. Arundel.
