First Ballot for Service
The first list of balloted reservists was officially signed last night in Auckland by the Minister for Defence. The names of the men drawn totalling about 4000. The following Huntly men’s names appear :
Messrs J. Bttrndred, J. Curamack, G. Gilbert, E. W. Hall C. W Hodge, A. H. Holland, A Hughes (Kimihia), J. A. W. Wine, H. Peckhain, W. Brooks. and«A. Berry.
