CLUTHA RIVER. From June 27 to July 5, the dredge recovered 55 ounces for 1(37 hours. AUSTRAL NEW ZEALAND. The Austral New Zealand dredge at Lowborn, front its preliminary operations, recovered 73 ounces of gold. The dredge closed down,on July 3rd for repairs, which are expected to occupy 10 days. BLACKBALL CREEK. Blackball Creek return: 34 ounces lor hours’ dredging. BI|G RIVER COLD MINES. Returns for May and June were as follows --“The : battery department crushed 209 tons of ore for 146 ozs 10 dwt incited go,ld, and the cyanide department treated 150 tons of sands for 21 ozs lOdwts of ' bullion, the total estimated value being (at £8 per oz) £1,325., In addition, fo,ur tons of concentrates were saved, valued at- £l2O. MOUNT MORGAN. .Estimated .working surplus for four weeks ended June 26th was £18,940. PADDY’S POINT.
