HARBOR COLLISION
WAS LINER AT FAULT. (Australian Press Association). SYDNEY, March 10. The Marine Court inquiry into the harbour collision between the Union, Company freighter and the Blue Star liner, cabled on March 16, is being continued. If is unlikely to fiuish until the end of the week. Sehvyn Capon, master of the Blue Star liner, in his evidence, said that the Sydney harbour bridge was a hindrance to navigation. He first saw the Union freighter when she was alarmingly close to him beneath the harbour bridge. Herbert Morson master of a tug that was waiting for the Union freighter said that the latter’s course, prior to the collision, was normal, but the Blue Star Liner’s course was not normal, this being possibly due to the set of the floodtide. The inquiry was adjourned. i
