Roberts stated that no further attempt will be made to train Defaulter this spring, and be Is to be sent back to New Zealand early next month and turned but for a long spell. The "Herald” says that Beau Vite, by winning the Clarendon Stakes, and Gold Salute, by a striking success in the Rowley Mile, did impressive trials for their Derby engagements next Saturday.
