INDIAN TOURIST’S REQUEST. (Per Press Association—Copyright). CHRISTCHURCH. June 20. The request of Professor Jagan Natli (trainer of the Indian hockey team) to he allowed to umpire in every match in New Zealand was discussed to-night by the managementcommittee of the New Zealand Hockey Association, It was decided that New Zealand umpires shall bo appointed to all of the test matches, but that in each of the provincial matches, the local association should nominate two umpires, first and second choice, and that the controlling association have the option of appointing Professor Jagan Nath to one end, if it so be desired.
