MORE SHIPS ' HIT COASTAL AIR RAID. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). LONDON, June 15.' The “News-Chronicle’s” Valencia correspondent says:— After four days of a lull, war on neutral shipping has been resumed. The insurgents three times raided the port of Gandia (south of ! 'Valencia) which is British-owned. The raid again set Brisbane on fire. Other bombs’ fell near the British steamer Thurston. Three were killed and twenty were wounded. Repeated raids on towns and villages caused numbers of casualties. Civilian refugees from' Castellon report that eight hundred bombs have been dropped there in the last 36 hours. A message from Sagunto says-. Insurgent planes raided Nules, creating devastation in the town and killing twenty-nine. The warships Canarias and Almirante Cervera shelled Castellon. Republicans are still desperately do fending a-portion of Castellon. FRENCH FREIGHTER BOMBED. VESSEL NEAR SINKING. (Received this day at 1.30 pun.) VALENCIA, June 10. The French freighter,' Gaulois. was Bombed, and the crew are doing their utmost to prevent it sinking. MORE BOMBING. (Received this day, at 12.40 p.mO VALENCIA, June 10. The freighter Gaulois has sunk.. Bombing also sank the French vessel Karbear. Nine were killed and tventjseven wounded in the iaids.
german ships used. (Received this day at 12.40 p.m.) , PARIS, June 15. Havas Agency cites an official announcement from Valencia, stating warships, apparently Dei man, bombarded the town. It is known a flotilla of German destroyers passed through Gibraltar recently!
