" King Farouk refused an offer of a crown, for which public subscriptions have already, been,opened, -He suggests the offer be postponed until the economic .situation improves.:/The intention is to purchase a gold jewelled crown to be offered to the King on his birthday. There is ,to be no coronation, because, it- is contrary to Moslem traditions.
