Arising out of a case of alleged victimisation by Martha Gold Milling Cq., a stop-work meeting of OhineinUri Mines and Batteries Union is being held this morning. No work is proceeding in the mine or battery at Waikino, pending the decision of the meeting

The stop-work meeting unanimously decided not to return to work until the worker affected was reinstated. It. is understood the management of mine hold that the worker is physically unfit for work underground, whilst the Union contend he is fit, and bqld a medical certificate ip Bupp,qrE o.^this.
