PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION

DARGAVILLE. September 22

The. Public Works Department has submitted to the Borough Council a plan of the proposed aerodrome site for Dargaville. The area will be about 70 acres, situated on the Awakino road, within a mile and a half of the post office, and about half a mile beyond the new hospital site. The plan provides for the ultimate extension of tin* area to about 14Q acres. This will entail the making of land at present used for farming purposes.
