At the Victoria Park Races to-day Now Zealand and ex-New Zealand horses won six out Of the nine events, including a double b.v .Aladdin, despite a seven pound penalty for his first win. This is an unprecedented run of successes for New Zealanders at the meeting. The Palmist, Bengal Lancer, Golden Treasure, and Highborn were the other winners. Incidentally Highborn was sold to-day to Air AV. F. Hughes. The price is not stated. Highborn is engaged in the A.J.C. Derby.
Result.*, at the Victoria Park races were as follows:
Novice Handicap first division—The Palmist 1, Hirai 2, Knight Folly 3. Won by a head each way. Time 1.405.
Novice Handicap, second division— Aladdin 1, Bulga Boy 2, Sir Rawson 3. Won by two lengths. Time 1.40. Three and Pour-Year-Old Handicap, first .division —Bengal Lancer 1 ; Dubonnet 2, Havilah Gift 3. Won by half a length. Time 1.61. This is a race record .
Three and Four-Year-Old Handicap, second division-—Aladdin 1, Roi Sion 2, Samurai 3. Won by a head. Time 1.27.
Welter Handicap, first division— Gold Treasure 1, Soot 2. Raleigh 3. Won b.v Ij lengths. Time 1.38 L Victoria Park Handicap—Highborn 1, Tucker Box 2. Billy Bov 3. AYon by half a head. .Time 2.14. j, 0(1 i 1 ion and Red Rosebud wore unplaced in the AYel ter second division. Aieai was unplaced in the Flying Handicap, which was won oiilliantly bv .Journal in race record time.'

Sir Ken was unplaced in the Three and Four-Year-Old Handicap.
Cheque! was unplaced in the Fl.ving Welter Handicap. Metro and Two No Trumps were unplaced in the Welter Handicap.
Extensive improvement. costing forty thousand pounds are being carried out at the Caulfield raeecourst-. with the object of providing more accommodation for the spring carnival.
Aiiuor improvements are being made at the Flemington racecourse.
STABLE BOYS STRIKE
LONDON, September 22
The stable boys’ discontent over their pay at famous racing establishments in the Lambourn district has culminated in the first strike ol boys working in stables ol Captain 8011, trainer for Sir Hugo Cunliffe Owen, and other notable racing pohplo. The boys seek a five shillings weekly increase. At present they are receiving £-, and at present there is much extra work due to new yearlings.

ORARI, September 23
Geraldine Racing Club’s annual meeting opened on the Orari course under favourable weather conditions and in the presence of a good muster of enthusiasts.. Rain which fell during the two previous days did not appreciably affect the track which was in good order. First Hurdles—l Travenna (R. J. Mackie) 1, 8 Chaste (G. Hinton) 2, (i Epris (L. Pratt) 3. Scratched: Arrow Glen. Won by three lengths; a head. Time 3.13. 1
Ohapi Handicap— 1 Moonriiker (A. E. Ellis) 1, 4 Dronhup (J. H. M'urfitt) 2, 2 Screamer (G. Watson) 3. Ser.: Valmareffi Muihapi. Warden’s Gift, Muriel. Won by a length; a head. Time 1.20.
