The 21 All Black trainees for the third and final test match against tho Springboks, at Eden Park next Saturday, assembled in Auckland to-day. I‘ The main body, consisting of 16 players, arrived by the Limited e: press, accompanied by the manager, Mr .T. T. Burrows, of Canterbury, and Mr j W. J. Wallace, of Wellington, who will conduct the training of the forwards and backs respectively. These members were joined in the city by the three Auckland players, .T. Dick, T. H. Pearce, and T. H. C. Caughey, N. A. Alitf 1 eli, the Southland centre-three-quarter, who played in a curtainraiser o.t Eden Park on Saturday, and J. L. Sullivan, the Taranaki centre-three-quarter, who came direct from his own province. After lunch the All Blacks were taken across the harbour to their quarters at Takapuna, where they will bo accommodated this week. All the players are in the best physical 'onuition, and none is suffering from colds or minor abrasions*. It was also revealed that every member of the party libs had strenuous match practice since the second test, most of the players hav- j ing taken part in representative games ! last Saturday. TRAINING OPERATIONS. AUCKLAND, September 21. The All Blacks rose early and hind deep breathing exercises, a walk along the beach aiid a hearty breakfasts. Pearce and Mitchell more daring than their companions, had an early morrring swim near Takapuna camp. The men played golf all the morning anrl are training this afternoon, five Auckland forwards packing down against the All Blacks pack. | Manager Burrows is confident they will get more of the ball than in the second test. Wallace, in charge of the: backs, has every confidence in the New Zealand three-quarter line.
