Cautioned on several occasions for slowness in breaking when ordered to do so by the referee, Don Noland was finally disqualified in the seventh round of a professional heavy-weight wrestling contest against the New Zealander. “Lofty” Blomfielu. Before this, each man had secured a fall, and Noland appeared to have the advantage on points. The seventh round opened in lively ;fashion, with both contestants punching and jolting wildly. Biomfield was j knocked through the ropes. and ’Noland, refusing to allow his opponent to regain his teot, maintained i barrage of jolts to Blomfield’s jaw. Lhe referee attempted to break the men, but in tbe ensuing melee he was knocked off his feet. Noland then lifted Biomfield and dumped him hard, hut the referee broke the wrestlers and raised the New Zealander’s arm as indication that Noland had been disqualified. CHRISTY AND JUDSON DRAW. Christy once entangled bis opponent in the ropes and proceeded to pummel him, tbe referee. Air A. Jenkins, having to haul him off by the hair before he could rescue Judson. Judson later held Christy in an Indian deathlock, but failed to gain a submission fall. Christv took a submission fall with a figure four body-scissors, and Judson equalised with a body press after a giant’s swing.
