A disgruntled -client shot and killed a former Assistant Attorney-Gene-ral, ITTr Elliott, at Illinois, stabbed in the abdomen another lawyer, injured two stenographers, and then surrendered to the police. Elliott was preparing to. summons his assailant in connection with a ten thousand dollars damage suit, at the time of the killing. The assailant explained that he was dissatisfied with the manner in which the lawyer was managing his claims against property. He felt they had dissipated his sixty thousand dollars fortune.
