RIDER INJURED

FRACTURED THIGH AND SHOCK TE PUKE, September 13. A fi'netuml thigh and shock v-re received by Miss H. Moriee, of Alanawulie, when the horse she was riding fell at a jump during the hunt at Paengaroa. When approaching the jump Aliss Morice’s mount was observed to baulk and fall, the rider being thrown heavily.

M iss JVlorice was attended by Dr Bertram, of Rotorua, a follower oi the hunt An ambulance was secured and she was taken to the Tanning* Hospital. Her condition was reported to be not serious.
