Wallace had a brief, merry stay and hit five fours. Kerr reached his first century in England hitting 9 fours and one six. l/mnelly executed many fine drives and hooks. The easy character ■of the pitch was proved by the fact that only seven wickets have fallen in two days for four, centuries and three half centuries.
