HOTELS ON FIRE
INCENDIARISM SUSPECTED. I If A WEI? A, June 11. Apparently the work of an incendiarist, simultaneous fires were discovered in the bedrooms of Egmont and Commercial Hotels yesterday, but were suppressed without difficulty. In one case the walls were blazing ) while in the other, the bedding was badly charred. Both hotels are old wooden buildings, and had the fires gained hold, the consequences would have been serious.
