FURTHER CASES. (Per Press Association—Copyright). HASTINGS, June 8. man, aged 22, of Hastings, has been admitted to'hospital; he is suspected to be suffering from infantile paralysis. His condition is not serious. CHRISTCHURCH, June 8. A case of infantile paralysis was. reported to the -Health authorities in Christchurch to-day. The patient is a girl of 11 years, residing at Limvood. "WELLINGTON. June 8. The first case of infantile paralysis for a week was reported to-day. The patient is from Lower Hutt and is aged five. The case is positive, but mild with no signs of paralysis. INVERCARGILL. Jun e 9. A boy, aged three, has been admitted to Southland Hospital from an outlying district, suffering from a mild form of infantile paralysis. This case, and the boy from Lochiel are the only cases known to have occurred in Southland for many weeks. According to health authorities, an odd case or two may occur for some months yet, but a fresh outbreak of the disease is extremely unlikely.
