Stein and Stalberg drew, in a wrestling bout here, with a fall each, the f end being a collision of heads, after which the men were stated to he un-. able te continue. BLOOMFIELD V. RUMBERG NEW PLYMOUTH, May 16. Hal Rumberg and “Lofty” Blomfield wrestled a draw, with one fall each before a record attendance on Saturday. The highlight of the bout was a fall gained by Blomfield in the fifth round with an octopus clamp. Rumberg evened in the last round with a body press after a series of headlocks. Though the wrestling was solid, Blomfield was more subdued on account of a severe cut over the eye, received the previous night.
RUSSIAN’S WIN AT DUNEDIN. DUNEDIN, May 16. , An eigbtrrouyid professional wrestling bout between Matros Kirilinko and Don Mclntyre last ey.qning ..resulted in a comparatively easy victory for the Russian, who pinned liis opponent in the fifth round with a, body press. The bout went the full eight rounds, but it was obviou s that Kirilinko was carrying bis opponent for the greater part of the contest.
