N. ATLANTIC ZEPPELIN PLAN

WASHINGTON, November 3

A weekly Zeppelin service over the North Atlantic to supplement the established weekly South Atlantic airship service is contemplated. A tentative agreement for a GerrnanAmerican Zeppelin service, using four dirigibles on the northern route, has been signed bv the United States Secretary' for Commerce (Mr Roper) and Dr. Hugo Eckener.

It provides for airships similar to the Graf Zeppelin,'now- in. service on the southern route over the Atlantic. Under the agreement, the United States would build two ships, and pool resources with Germany.

The joint schedule would ,he operated by the Zeppelin Corporation.

A beginning "will be made with the service when dirigibles now’ being constructed in Germany are completed.
