Dr. Martin Cook referred to the number of .children wearing glasses, and declared that white perambulator hood-lining was definitely detrimental to a baby’s eyesight. Correct ventilation, freedom from glare, lack of fringe, and a lining of linen instead of American cloth were four principles • approved by the conference, which decided to- publish a pamphlet on the subject.
