INTOXICATED IN CHARGE. (Per Press Association. —Copyright). WELLINGTON, November 5. A fine of £lO and costs was imposed on Emile Meazza, aged 53. a clothing manufacturer, charged with intoxication when in charge of a motor-car. The Magistrate (Mr Mosley) said the defendant evidently had a bit of sense and did the best thing lie could do in the circumstances, viz, parked liis car and rested. If he had been found driving, he would certainlv have gone to prison. Defendant’s license was suspended till March 5.
