MELBOURNE, October 15
A Melbourne syndicate is preparing to. float a company to exploit the fishing grounds in Australian and New Zealand waters. Tt is reported a representative will be sent to London to attempt to raise £500,000 for the project. . The directors of the' proposed company, the Southern 'Fisheries Development Gov.', ’state they intend to use a factory ship, carrier, and three trawlers. Most of tho fishing will be'done in New Zealand waters. They estimate three hundred tons of fish could he landed in Victoria and Now ‘South Wales each month.
