Miss Betty is 19 and her fiance ia 29. Besides sharing the same birthday as Miss Betty’s parents do, the young couple’s •.romance began on a liner in like manner to Lord and Lady Baden Powell’s. They met whilst on the return journey after the long, tour which Lord and Lady Baden Powell with their two daughters had been making in Africa. Mr Clay who has been in South Africa six years, happened to he returning home on leave. “We shall be sailing for South Africa the day after the wedding and we will live in Northern Rhodesia” said Miss Betty with a happy smile on her face.
