JEALOUS MEXICAN’S CRIME. INDIANA HARBOR (U.S.A.) July 19. Jealous of Jose Ara, a former board-, er in his home, Celestrino Gonzalez, a Mexican labourer, shot and killed him, hacked his- own wife and six children to death, and then committed suicide. He left a note which, indicated jealousy as the motive for the planned crime. Apparently Mrs Gonzalez was killed in her sleep. iThere were signs that some of the children, the eldest of whom was aged 17, had put up •, a hard fight for life after the murder of their mother.
