FATALITIES
FATAL MOTOR ACCIDENT (Per Press Association —Copyright). AUCKLAND, July 19. Two men were killc’d and two were injured in a motor accident, which occurred on the Main South Road, about a mile north of Ohinemutu, at 11 p.m., yesterday. The victims were-George, Blanck, aged 46, labourer, of Papakura, and Edgar Neville Moxoin, aged 32, labourer, married, of Ponsonby. Those injured were Keith Robert ißremner, aged 45, lorry driver, widower, of Drury, severe concussion and bruises ; his condition being fairly serious, and ,Hugh Prince, aged 50, labourer, widower, of Te Kawa; a cut hand and shock; his condition not being serious. FATAL .FALL FROM WHARF AUCKLAND, July 19. W. P. M. Todd, an unemployed tailor, aged 56 years of age, fell into the harbour from tlie Northern Wharf on Saturday evening and was drowned. The accident was witnessecd by J. McDougall, the Northern Steamship Company’s night watchman, who threw Todd If lifebuoy, and then, with the assitance of members , of the crew of the steamer “Taniwha,” rescued the man, who was dead when lifted on to the wharf.
