AT FREMANTLE MEAT NEGOTIATIONS COMMENT. (Australian Press Association.) FREMANTLE, July 30. The Prime Minister of New Zealand, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes) and Mrs Forbes arrived here to-day from England by the liner Maloja. Commenting on the London discussions, Air Forbes .said that he did not think that any restrictions would he placed on Australia and New Zealand lamb or mutton exports to Britain. After expressing satisfaction witli the general position in regard to mutton and laud), Mr Forbes said the beef negotiations were proceeding satisfactorily when he left. Referring to the trans-Tasman airmail, All- Forbes said there should be an Imperial scheme inaugurated after consultation between the United Kingdom, New Zealand and Australian Governients.
